Special Diets

A growing number of children are having to be on special diets due to the inability to tolerate certain foods.  Many children are lacking in digestive enzymes needed to break down the foods they eat.  Others have multiple allergies, for which I’ve listed the top 8 food allergens; Milk, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Tree nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, and Soybeans.

These foods account for about 90% of all food allergies in the United States and must be declared on any processed food according to the USA food allergen labeling act (FALCPA).

In a study done on 80 mexican children, done by Dr Javier Hernandez Covarrubias, the following was found:
